What makes us special? The artist’s eye, coupled with some particular relevant skills.
We - Linda & Nigel - set up this site after we had done art & design work and cakemaking
for several weddings, starting with friends and family. The reactions to our input
to these weddings were so favourable that we thought we could help other couples
in the same way. Guests at the weddings said that the personal touches and the ways
that they had been put together made each day special so that they reflected each
couple and their chosen themes.
We both have creative minds & a keen eye for design. Nigel is the more experienced
artist, exhibiting and selling work (see some of his work at www. nigelsimsart.co.uk)
and he’s also a cake-maker. He’s also run his own business for twenty-odd years.
Linda also paints and creates cards and collages - and she has a background in accounting
which helps with the organisation of any business.
We work with other people too - photographers, organisers, designers - so they can
bring their own special talents to bear. So you don’t just get ideas and input from
the two of us, you get those of other experienced people as well. But in all of this,
your ideas must remain the guiding light.
